The Last Man in Fukushima

This documentary follows Naoto Matsumura, literally the only person has continued to live in the town of Tomioka – population 16,078 before the 2011 natural disasters.

His descriptions of the Fukushima power plant workers blaming the explosions they heard following the earthquake on a North Korean missile strike “because nuclear power plants aren’t supposed to explode” are somewhere between incredulous and darkly hilarious.
